Halloween Spooktacular Weekend 2
It’s Halloween at Great Escapes North Texas!!! Activities will include loads of fun and plenty of scares! Join us for arts, crafts, activities, pumpkin carving, costume contests, and a campsite decorating contest! Our campers are known for competitive decorating, and having a good time. Prizes awarded for first through third place in campsite/cabin contests. Don’t forget candy for the trick-or-treaters! Be sure to take a spooky stroll through our haunted forest, where you never know what may be lurking behind you. So, bring all your spooky friends and join us for a thrilling Halloween celebration!

This Veterans Day, consider honoring our nation’s heroes by embracing the great outdoors and connecting with nature through camping. Gather fellow veterans, friends, and family to embark on a camping adventure, fostering camaraderie and shared experiences. Camping provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by veterans while enjoying the tranquility and serenity of nature. Take a moment around the campfire to share stories, express gratitude, and create lasting memories in celebration of those who have served our country. Camping on Veterans Day is not just a recreational activity but a meaningful way to pay tribute to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding our freedom.

Camps-Giving
Prepare to loosen those belts and join us for the highlight of the season at our annual Camps-giving dinner, set for 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Delight in a bountiful spread of traditional favorites, elegantly presented in a buffet style designed to please every palate.
To ensure your seat at this festive gathering, be sure to order your plates at least a week in advance—available online. However, please note that we require a minimum of 50 plates to proceed with the event. Let’s come together as a community and contribute to the spirit of giving during Thanksgiving week by bringing at least 2 non-perishable food items. Your generosity not only supports our local food bank but also enters you into a drawing for a chance to win a complimentary night stay. It’s a celebration of gratitude, but don’t delay—reserve your plates and help us ensure this memorable event takes place!

We’ll have tons of activities for kids to enjoy including cookie decorating ($). So grab a cup of hot chocolate $ and meet us on the wagon for a quaint sleigh hey ride through the park. You’ll be immersed in Christmas festivities for the entire weekend!
